Dear Student:

The Institute for Creation Research welcomes you to our new distance-learning course—Advanced Creationism. At present, we envision this as a pilot study for you the student to experience the adventure of studying creation/evolution at a higher level than is available through seminars and workshops and for the Institute to develop skills and ability to enter the Internet.

Advanced Creationism is a three semester-unit apologetics course for those who qualify as graduate students. Prerequisites for regular graduate status are a bachelor's degree in Biology, Physics, Geology, or Science Education, a 3.0 GPA, and supporting recommendations. Other non-science students, who have a bachelor's degree, may take the course with modified tests for a certificate. All must complete a graduate school application for acceptance into the program.

We feel the video lecture series will be an enjoyable exposure to our professional staff. Each of the twelve modules consists of a video lecture, supplemental impact articles and sidebars that expand topics covered only briefly in the lecture. Drs. Henry and John Morris have written the text "The Modern Creation Trilogy" which lays a foundation for many of the classes. Of course, examinations are provided for practice and a proctored final will determine your grade if you are taking the course for graduate credit.

May God bless you as you take this course as He has blessed us in its preparation.

Yours in Christ,

Dr. Kenneth Cumming, Dean
