The Age of the Earth
The Age of the Earth

Module Introduction
Rocks are not able to give us the absolute age of the earth. The only fully reliable source for the age of the earth is the Bible. All the evidence from geology is completely compatible with the Biblical age of the earth.

Both evolution and creation are attempting to explain origins by interpreting data. Both depend on presuppositions when making their interpretations. Since the study of origins is outside the limits of empirical science, it is especially important to understand the presuppositions that are influencing these interpretations.

This module will study the evolutionary framework and the creation framework for Earth history, examining the assumptions behind these frameworks.
